Mary Ester Badillo is the Accounting Director of the San Antonio Board of REALTORS®. She assumed her position in January 2007. She has 12 years experience in public accounting which includes auditing, tax, and write-up work. She was Comptroller of a nonprofit organization for six years. Mary received her Bachelors in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting in December 1988 from Our Lady of the Lake University.

Sylvia S. Anguiano is the Accounts Receivable Clerk of the San Antonio Board of REALTORS®. She began her employment on August 28, 1989 in the Membership Services Department. She then transferred into the Accounting Department in 1990 as the Account Receivable Clerk. Sylvia also has 13 years experience in publishing the MLS Listing Books prior to her employment with the San Antonio Board of REALTORS®.

Linda Carreon is the REALTOR® Store Clerk for the San Antonio Board of REALTORS®. She began working at SABOR in 2007 as a part-time receptionist and was promoted to her new position in 2008. Linda has seventeen years experience in customer service, retail, and merchandising.

Cathy Jo Sagebiel is the Accounts Payable/Payroll Clerk of the San Antonio Board of REALTORS®. She assumed her position in June 2007. She has 29 years experience in the public accounting field where her job duties included bookkeeper, Accounts Payable Clerk, Payroll Clerk, and other accounting functions.

Angela Shields is the CEO and President of the San Antonio Board of REALTORS®. Prior to SABOR, she served as the CEO of the Athens Area Association of REALTORS® located in Athens, Georgia for nearly 14 years. Angela has served the National Association of REALTORS®. She is currently on the NAR RCE Governing Board. Past NAR Committee service includes Business Issues, Research, and the Land Use, Property Rights and Environment Committee. She currently serves the Texas Association of REALTORS® on the Technology Committee and the Association Executives Council. She holds the RCE and e-Pro designation. In addition, she is a graduate from the University of Georgia.

Patricia Botello is the Vice President of Operations for the San Antonio Board of REALTORS®. She joined SABOR on February, 1989 in the Membership Department. She was promoted to Governmental Affairs Director in 1993 where she served as the SABOR lobbyist monitoring local, state and national legislation. In 1998, she was promoted to Assistant Executive Officer for SABOR. Prior to her employment at SABOR, she worked 10 years for a local builder/developer.

Cheryl has worked with the San Antonio Board of REALTORS® for the past ten years.  Her duties include event planning, marketing, and fund raising for TREPAC.  Prior to working with the board, she has been with several different title companies in San Antonio.  She was involved in promoting and marketing to REALTORS® and was Marketing Director for one of the local title companies.  Cheryl also worked as a real estate agent and a fashion/cosmetic consultant for several years.  She has served on many professional and civic committees and boards including but not limited to Women’s Council of REALTORS®, which she also served as President, SABOR Affiliate Member of the Year, Any Baby can board member for six years, and local Homeowners Association board member.

Karen Whittenberg joined SABOR on February 1st, 2008, as the “Information Central Coordinator”, which is in essence the “concierge” for SABOR. She helps to answer questions of both members and the public and/or guides them to sources for answers. Karen was the former Association Executive for the Greater McAllen Association of REALTORS® from 1973 through 1978 and more recently from 2003 through May 2007. Karen served on the Texas Association of REALTORS® Association Executive Committee and TAR’s International Committee helping to secure relationships between Texas REALTORS® and members of Mexico’s AMPI, which is Mexico’s equivalent of NAR. Karen enjoys living and working in San Antonio and educating both SABOR members and members of the public on real estate related topics.

Kelsey Stell joined SABOR as the Communication Assistant in 2011. New to San Antonio, Kelsey is a native of Odessa, Texas where she received her Bachelor’s in Communication with a concentration on Visual Communication from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin in December 2008. Kelsey began her career as a Graphic Designer at Century Graphics & Sign Inc. in Midland, Texas where she served as Art Director until 2010.

Faith Palacios joined the SABOR Staff in April, 1979 as Education Secretary. She earned a Certificate of Scholastic Achievement in the NAR® Executive Officers Self Study Program. In 1995 she was given the title Education Services Administrator and was awarded Employee of the Year in 2001.  Faith assists with managing the Real Estate School and works closely with students in the arena of Pre-Licensing and Sales Annual Education (SAE) as well as students who take 30-hour and MCE courses online.  She is also the facilitator for those students wishing to use their benefits from the VA.

Robyn Locke joined the San Antonio Board of REALTORS® (SABOR) in 2001 as the Director of Political & Community Affairs. Within her purview, she works with community leaders, local, state and national legislators. Her role takes her from the local arena, to Austin and onto Washington DC where she works on issues relating to the preservation of private property rights. Robyn holds a BBA from the University of Texas in Austin. SABOR is an advocate for the consumer championing advocacy issues that impact our community.

Wanda earned a real estate license beginning in 1977 and received her broker’s license in 1979. She practiced real estate until moving to San Antonio in 1996. She enjoys working with members and serves as the liaison to the HOA management companies.

Terri Hart is the MLS Technical Representative in the Member Services Department of the San Antonio Board of REALTORS®.  She started SABOR in 1992 as the Receptionist and moved to the Member Services Department as an Administrative Assistant in 1994 and became the Technical Representative in 2000.  Terri has been through four MLS system changes in 16 years.

Carol Levandoski, Member Relations Manager and Trainer for the San Antonio Board of REALTOR®’s Member Care Department has been part of the team since 2008.   Responsibilities include providing MLS training classes for SABOR’s members, scheduling classes, creation of all class materials and handouts.  She provides customer support for the Member Care Department which includes questions regarding membership procedures and computer application problems.  She has advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office, Listing Checker and other Windows-based programs.  She has a strong background in sales & marketing along with commercial and residential real estate experience. Carol was awarded San Antonio Board of REALTORS® 4th Quarter 2009 Above and Beyond award.

Della Owen graduated from the University of Tulsa with a BS in History/Education.  She started her career teaching in the Tulsa public school system teaching history and geography.  Della obtained an Oklahoma real estate license and practiced real estate listing and sales in the Tulsa area.  After moving to Texas, she obtained a Texas real estate license and was associated with one of the largest real estate offices in the state.  She has worked in the banking and mortgage business for many years prior to joining the staff of the San Antonio Board of REALTORS®.

Sylvia B. Perez joined the San Antonio Board of REALTORS® April 2001 as an Administrative Assistant in the Member Services Department. She helps to answer questions of Members in reference to MLS and Membership. She also helped with the training in the use of the MLS System(s). Prior to joining SABOR she served as Director of Member Services for 22 years with the Corpus Christi Association of REALTORS®.
