March 23 – Deadline for local boards to submit amended recommendations.
March 29 (tentative) – TREPAC Trustees consider new recommendations (webinar).
April 9 – Date by which candidates for state house or state senate must be residents of the district they seek to represent.
April 21 – Democratic senate district and county conventions. Republican senate district and county conventions in some counties.
May 14-25 – Early voting for Texas primary.
May 29 – Texas primary day.
June 7-9 – Republican state convention in Fort Worth.
June 8-9 – Democratic state convention in Houston.
July 23-27 – In-person early voting for the primary runoff.
July 31 – Primary runoff.
July 31 – Elections for precinct chair. For precinct-chair elections, only a plurality vote is required, i.e. no runoffs
