Change in Supra Lockbox Distribution

SABOR MLS with approval of the Board of Directors adopted a policy that effective January 15, 2009 lockboxes will have to be purchased when needed.  SABOR will no longer track inventory and issue boxes to the Participant based on inventory and at no cost.  Brokers may keep for use in their office any existing inventory.  Any additional lockboxes required may be purchased at $35* per box by the brokers and/or agents.

Please be aware of the following guidelines:

1. In order to work with SABOR member keys the lockboxes used must either be from the inventory previously issued to the Broker or be purchased at SABOR. Boxes must be in the SABOR system. Do not purchase boxes from other sources they will not be programmed to work with SABOR keys.
2. Lockboxes will be recorded in the Supra system in the name of the purchaser either Broker and/or Agent.
3. If the Designated REALTOR^® for the Company changes and boxes are to be transferred to new Designate a letter of authorization signed by both parties should be presented to SABOR member services dept.  
4. Supra lockboxes are the endorsed box by the SABOR MLS.  The Supra box can be read using the key and a report issued showing the key # of persons accessing the property.  Please refer to pages 24-25 of your display key users guide for instructions. 

*Cost may vary based on SABOR's ability to secure additional used boxes. SABOR will exercise "best efforts" to purchase used boxes at the most reasonable price and make available at SABOR's cost. Boxes purchased new from Supra have a cost of $85 plus tax. However, by purchasing in large quantities SABOR has been fortunate to find used inventory at a cost savings.
